We encourage all attending students to showcase work that they have done in the form of either a short talk or a poster. We will be presenting awards for the best posters and talks at the end of the conference. This is a great opportunity for students to practice their scientific communication and showcase their hard work!
After you have been accepted, we will send out a Welcome Email sometime in late November with a link to a Google Form. In that Form, we will ask you to submit your Title and Abstract for your work, and whether you would like to give a talk or present a poster. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. On this page, you will find information about the Poster and Talk guidelines, as well as a link to the rubrics that will be used to judge your work. We are excited to see you present!

If you have never made a research poster before, do not be afraid! Here is a great resource for you to look over for advice about how to present a great poster from the SPS.

Please limit your talk to 10 minutes and expect about 5 minutes for questions. Your slides can be created through whichever program you desire (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, etc.). Please bring your laptop with you on the day that you are presenting, along with an HDMI adaptor if needed.
